In times of mental health emergencies, timely intervention can be a matter of life and death. In Southeastern Indiana, a network of crisis services is available to provide immediate support, stabilization, and guidance for those facing mental health challenges. Accessing these resources is crucial—not only to help individuals manage acute crises, but also to connect them to ongoing care and support that can pave the way toward recovery and improved overall well-being.

INcompass Crisis Care Center and Mobile Crisis Team The INcompass Crisis Care Center, located at 285 Bielby Road, Lawrenceburg, IN 47025, offers comprehensive crisis intervention services, including a dedicated Mobile Crisis team available around the clock, to all ages, 24/7. You may call them at (812) 532-2595 or toll-free at (877) 489-1248. Their team is trained to quickly assess situations, ensure safety, and provide critical support during mental health emergencies. By delivering rapid, compassionate care directly within the community, INcompass helps individuals stabilize during moments of crisis, facilitates seamless connections to longer-term resources, and works to ensure no one is ever alone in a crisis.

Choices CERT Team – Substance Use Recovery Support The Choices Emergency Response Team (CERT) provides 24/7 recovery support to individuals and families struggling with substance use in Southeastern Indiana. Their team of specialists conducts an initial assessment within 24 to 48 hours of a referral, helping individuals take the first step toward recovery. Participants choose their own recovery approach, and CERT guides them toward personalized resources that align with their goals. For 60 days, the team continues to provide recovery support and connections to services such as detox, inpatient and outpatient care, support groups, and medication-assisted treatment. Their mission is to prevent substance use-related deaths and provide crisis stabilization and long-term recovery support.

The Choices CERT is available in Dearborn, Decatur, Fayette, Franklin, Jefferson, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, and Wayne County. You can reach them by calling (317) 205-8302.
