CARE Initiatives

In order to realize CARE's mission, CARE has several important initiatives to reduce the stigma around receiving support and to increase the access to recovery support.

  • Increase awareness and understanding of addiction science, recovery, services available and the benefits of evidence-based treatments through a stigma busting campaign.

  • This will be accomplished by:

    • Holding informational booths at local events

    • Continuing Lunch and Learns

    • Creating a video series highlighting local resources and featuring local stories of recovery

Foster Greater Peer Recovery Support

  • Ensure Dearborn County residents in recovery have access to housing.
